Leadership

The secretary and treasurer are elected for a two year term of office and are free to stand for re-election at the end of this period. Ole has been our secretary since September 2006 and Sandra has been treasurer for six years, having recently re-elected for her third term in September 2007.

Deacons are elected by the church annual general meeting for a period of three years. Our consitiution allows for two consecutive terms to be served and then recommends a sabbatical period of a year before standing again. Peter Banks, Andy and Ronnie were elected for the first time in September 2007 where Sian was re-elected for her second term. Frank Wells was re-elected in 2008 at the same time that Jeanette was elected following a sabbatical. Peter Martell was elected in 2009.
